Meet Sharni

Driven. Experience. Connected.

From the moment I began studying organisational psychology and made the jump to join the recruitment industry, I was deeply fascinated by creating highly functioning teams, high performance culture and creating outstanding recruitment partnerships that supports innovation and collaboration within the organisations of my clients. I recently came to the realisation that what better way to achieve these outcomes for my clients than to specialise in an industry that I am deeply passionate about, Real Estate, Property and Financial services.

The best businesses in 2021 recognise that people are their biggest asset, and to continue to attract and retain the best talent, they must create an environment and brand that reflects their culture. SC People was founded out of the vision of becoming a strategic partner for Real Estate and Property industry businesses to achieve their people goals.

Being well networked and passionate about the Newcastle Region. I am heavily focused on candidate care, employer brand and candidate experience. I strive to be an innovative, caring leader who empowers others around me. In 2020, I was the proud recipient of the HunterNet Future Leaders Kristen Keegan Scholarship and am looking forward to kicking off the Future Leaders program in early 2021.

I have a keen interest in interest in organisational psychology and the importance of the workplace’s connection to individual wellbeing.

Meet Sarah O

Ethical. Engaged. Caring.

My role with SC People as Candidate Experience Manager focuses on engaging with candidates from the start and beyond the initial recruitment process. This is something that is of special value to myself and one of the reasons I joined SC People. I have worked in recruitment approaching 3 years, with a background in Criminology and a special interest in both people and community purpose, recruitment was the right fit for me. Growing up in a small town, I know the value of creating strong connections and the emphasis of linking talent with matched passion, creating productive and supportive community links.

Promoting ethical recruiting practice with purpose is something that SC People radiates for our clients, candidates, and the Newcastle community that we share.
Having worked with Sharni previously, it was clear her passion for quality and meaningful outcomes, with the ambition to go beyond the usual process but guiding success for individual careers and business consultation.

Being able to assist people in making the right choice in their career, at what can be a tedious time is what drives me to be part of this wonderful business!

Meet Sarah C

Sarah studied a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Journalism, as well as has qualifications in Event and Business Management as well as Human Resource Management, you can say Sarah has it covered when it comes to all things recruitment and client communications!

Meet Dylan

Character. Driven. Committed.

Dylan completed a Bachelor of Business – International Business and Management through the University of Newcastle.

Dylan worked part time throughout university and once the completion of his course he moved to London and worked in hotels and events. Once returning to Australia, Dylan started working in Disability employment which led him to recruitment and his current position with SC People.

Here’s why Dylan wanted to join the SC People team, ” I wanted to join SC People as I am passionate about helping
people and truly making a difference. It is important for me to work for a business that shares the same values as myself. SC
